Vanuit het niets staat er vandaag een nieuwe Disney Original op Disney Plus: Zenimation. Zenimation is een serie die volgens Disney een eerbetoon zijn aan zowel de visuele- als geluidsartiesten die Walt Disney Animation Studios heeft voortgebracht.

De originele beschrijving van de serie luidt:
“Kom tot rust, ontspan en verfris je zintuigen met een momentje mindfulness met Zenimation van Walt Disney Animation Studios – een geanimeerde soundscape-ervaring. Of baby Vaiana nu geroepen wordt door de oceaan, Anna en Kristoff door een ijzig woud lopen of Baymax en Hiro Hamada over San Fransokyo vliegen, deze iconische scènes worden een ongekende auditieve ervaring met geluiden van de golven van de zee, een bevroren bos en een zwevende vlucht.”
Het eerste seizoen van Zenimation bestaat uit 10 korte afleveringen van ongeveer 7 minuten, die de onderstaande titels dragen.

Explore the sea with Moana, Ariel and Elsa.
2. Cityscapes
Visit New Orleans, Mt. Olympus, San Fransokyo and Atlantis.
3. Discovery
Discover the world around you with Elsa, Tarzan, and Rapunzel.
4. Flight
Fly with Aladdin and Jasmine, Baymax and Hiro, & Cody and Marahuté.
5. Explore
Explore new places with Judy Hopps, baby Moana and Aurora.
6. Night
Gaze at the night sky with Tiana, Rapunzel, and Jim Hawkins.
7. Nature
Take in the beauty of nature with Simba, Pocahontas, and Tarzan.
8. Serenity
Have a moment of calm with Belle, Mulan and Gramma Tala.
9. Water Realms
Surf with Lilo, cross the Dark Sea with Elsa, & restore the heart of Te Fiti with Moana.
10. Levity
Have a laugh with Flash the Sloth, Stitch and Baymax.
